Israeli defence electronics firm Elbit Systems said on Tuesday it had boosted supplies to Israel's military due to the country's war with Hamas militants, as it reported higher quarterly profit.

Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO Foreign Ministers will address pressing security issues at their meeting starting on Tuesday (28 November 2023) in Brussels. Speaking at NATO Headquarters ahead of the meeting, Mr Stoltenberg welcomed the extension of the pause in the hostilities in Gaza and said that this has allowed for much needed relief for the people in Gaza, the release of more hostages, and the delivery of more humanitarian aid.

Speaking after the meeting, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Allies also expressed concern about the war in the Middle East. He welcomed the extension of the pause in hostilities between Israel and Hamas, which has allowed much-needed relief to people in Gaza, the release of more hostages, and the delivery of more humanitarian aid.
