    Military Airlift Conference

Welcome to the Airlift community's annual international meeting Connecting military users, Multinational Organisations and NGOs, Military Airlift 2019 will assess the interconnected challenges faced and the solutions sought by the airlift community over the last year in relation to improving equipment, capability, procurement processes, strategy and tactics. With an agenda designed to reflect the varied and global nature of airlift operations, dedicated sessions have been designed to discuss the decreasing capability of legacy fleets, changing procurement processes and the ever-increasing geographical scope for pooling and sharing assets, the development of plans to facilitate the use of multi-purpose and multi-mission equipment, and the training, tactics and procedures designed to prepare for operations in challenging environments. Whilst these interdisciplinary conversations take place in an effort to deliver greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness for user groups, this event will also continue its rich history of delivering the latest operational feedback and performance analysis across the strategic, tactical and air-to-air refueling mission sets. Key Themes Include: Equipment - Operational feedback: learning from mission case-studies on operational uses of adapted multi-purpose and multi-mission aircrafts. Capability - Addressing capability gaps affecting the airlift community on a global level, with Industry representatives posing solutions from existing and emerging platforms. Procurement processes - Completing the 'procurement triangle' between Military Users, NGOs and Industry to identify new and emerging forms of procurement cycles, with an increased focus on the pooling and sharing of assets. Strategy - Sharing concepts of operations and TTPs to ensure successful Strategic and Tactical Airlift missions. Air-to-Air Refueling - Analyzing newly developed Air-to-Air refueling technology and expanding the geographical scope for refueling operations in Europe.

    Maritime ISR Global Conference

Supporting Maritime Superiority in an Era of Great Power Competition With Europe's defence narrative focused on the threat of peer conflict in the land environment, the Black Sea serves as a reminder that the ability to operate at sea is just as intrinsic to NATO's strategic priorities. As the uptick in non-NATO activity continues, its waters have become an important case study for delivering a joint ISR capability - one that can overcome an increased operational tempo to sustain a high-level of decision support to the war fighter. Maritime ISR Global 2019 will welcome senior leaders from the UK, Australia, Sweden, Germany, NATO and many others to set a roadmap for delivering persistent maritime ISR. With the outcome of future combat operations dependent on integration - cross-platform and across domain - the first of the three days will ask how we can design a requirement that meets that need. The two main days will look at delivering integration in practice, and will ask how space, air, surface and sub-surface nodes can overcome the tyranny of scale to maximise MDA and improve data relay, delivering a multi-domain intelligence function which can incorporate cyber and mitigate the full-spectrum of hybrid threats to maintain information advantage. There is, then, much to discuss, and so we invite you to join more than 150 ISR experts in Bucharest as they harness innovation to support maritime superiority - in an era of great power competition. Maritime ISR Global Agenda in Brief No Stovepipes: Sensor Fusion & Multi-Domain Decision-Making Commercial Space & Maritime Domain Awareness ISR Network Resiliency & Cyber in the Maritime Arena The Baltic, South China Sea and the Med: Countering Hybrid Threats at Sea Balancing Sustainment with Innovation: MPA, UAV, UUV and Surface Fleet Acquisition AI and Decision-Support: Intelligence Exploitation & Big Data

Disruptive Technology for Defence Transformation Conference

Delivering Capability for Machine-Speed Warfare 'Beyond current readiness concerns, we are at an inflection point where we can no longer afford to defer modernizing our capabilities and developing new ones without eroding competitive advantages of our technology and weapon system' - Gen James McConville, Vice Chief of Staff, US Army Key NATO nations are prioritising disruptive innovation and increasing budgets for data management and digital technologies to transform ISR; C2; the manned/unmanned/autonomous mix on land, at sea, in the air and in space; and enable Synthetic Environments to train for multi-domain operations. In response to this, and the huge success of last year's conference the world leading Disruptive Technology for Defence Transformation Conference will return to London 24-26 September, bringing together 200-250 senior military leaders, government officials, tech and defence industry, research, War and Staff colleges and academia. This breadth of attendance, and the personal interventions of the UK Vice Chief of Defence Staff, Commander Joint Forces Command and many very senior national military and NATO leaders, underlines the developing pace and significance of how Digital Age technology and method are fundamentally reshaping Defence and Security capability and operations. This year's focus is to build on the discussions of last year, examining how the application of Digital Age technology transforms the delivery of 'full spectrum effects': aligning new military hard power with the whole range of soft power including cyber and social media; moving on to establish how acquisition structures and processes can (and must) be adapted to ensure that we are able to keep pace with industry's progression. We had to stop registration early for last year's conference due to reaching maximum capacity. This year, we have allowed more space, expecting 250 attendees, but advise booking early to avoid disappointment. Roundtable discussions are also limited in space - find out more by downloading the agenda below. Benefits for the Military Community Develop concepts of operation and establish requirements for the future operating system Accelerate decision-making and enhance fully scalable C2 combat management through AI and big data analysis Transform ISR at the joint and DOD levels through data collection, fusion, analysis, and visualisation Integrate a manned and unmanned mix of capability for the tri-services Enhance training for the future warfighter by establishing a single synthetic training environment and exploiting AR/VR Benefits for the Technology Industry Present your solutions to decision-makers, who are shortening their procurement cycles and accelerating integration of technologies from traditional and commercial solution providers Gain first-hand insights into near, mid, and long-term development plans of NATO militaries to align your systems to capability requirements and secure future partnerships Learn about how your organisation can benefit from defence innovation initiatives, focusing on military exploitation of SME and start-up technologies Be the first to showcase your C4ISR and RAS solutions to Armed Forces' thought leaders, as they finalise requirements for the future Joint Force Enhance your understanding of current experimentation, trialling, and R&D to inform budgetary decisions and develop winning business proposals
