Full Spectrum Air Defence International conference

The Gathering of the World's Air Defence Community As the world's military returns to conventional warfighting roles, air defence has once again become the first line of defence for the world's armed forces. With new ballistic capabilities being developed by near-peer adversaries in Eastern Europe and Asia, major advances already witnessed in cruise missile systems, and the proliferation of UAV's across all size and classes, the need to rapidly evolve air defence systems has become a necessity across all defence forces. Building upon the previous success of the Integrated Air and Missile Defence conference as the chosen forum for the international air defence community, the Full Spectrum Air Defence Internationalhas been built in response to the military need to consider the total operating environment. Designed to expand the conversation to address the full scale, and range, of air defence Full Spectrum Air Defence International will determine strategy, integrate technology and define approaches for international cooperation and integration across the full spectrum of air defence, with briefings from key decision makers from strategic air defence commands and capability demonstrations from leading industry partners in air defence. With ever increasing threats from state and non-state actors alike, the need for an immediate global response has never been greater. The Full Spectrum Air Defence International conference will take place 19-21 September in Zurich. This year's key questions include: How can air defenders be aided by the OEM and systems integrators to smooth the transition from legacy to contemporary assets? As threats become increasingly varied, what options are there for multi-modal air defence systems, such as directed energy, which can engage a range of targets? What benefits and limitations to these futuristic systems? In what ways can nations increase the integration of Air Defences across different planes, for example Ground-Based and Sea-Based, in an effort to create a more seamless reactive capability? What lessons can be transferred between GBAD commanders in different regions of the world, in terms of meeting operational challenges?

    Military Airlift 2018 Conference

Welcome to the Airlift community's annual international meeting We are delighted to announce that our annual Military Airlift conference will be taking place in London this September. This established forum brings together leaders from the international airlift community, providing a platform for sharing ideas, discussing shared challenges and creating a marketplace for exploring airlift solutions. Airlift is a sector of our industry in constant development; over the next 10 years, more than 800 new military airlifters are set to be delivered at a value of $65 Billion. Research from the Joint Air Power Competency Centre, as well as many government publications has highlighted Europe's strategicairlift requirement gap; a reality which has engendered substantial commitments to increase airlift capacity from European nations. This was arguably first demonstrated during Operation Unified Protector over Libya in 2011, which demonstrated Europe's reliance on the US for airlift capacity, particularly with regards to air-to-air refueling. A key theme is the collaborative effort to deliver strategic airlift, particularly across Europe. Expert speakers will share their knowledge and experience around developing airlift capabilities that are fully aligned with their operational requirements, within cost-constrained environments, and whilst continually adapting to regulatory changes. Conference sessions will also focus on how militaries, multi-national organisations and NGO's are best able to incorporate air-chartering, joint procurement, MRO, air-to-air refueling and pooling and sharing to improve operational airlift capability. Military Airlift 2018 is therefore the essential platform for our industry, featuring comprehensive discussions and executive level presentations. We invite you to explore the website to view the agenda and the speaker faculty, as it updates over the coming weeks. Attend Military Airlift 2018 and: Learn how to maintain your readiness and responsiveness to global threats and humanitarian crises, as they unfold Explore the ground support and logistics solutions designed to keep your costs low and your flight hours high Improve your organisation's avionics capability in order to future-proof your fleet against upcoming regulatory changes in the European skies Increase your access to air-to-air refueling across European airspace and keep your aircraft in the air for longer by meeting capability owners in this space Discover how to better manage your capacity to deliver movement in a cost-conscious environment through pooling, sharing and new industry solutions

The 2018 Tactical Communications Summit will focus on advancing network capabilities by delivering enhanced C4ISR and information dominance to the current and future Warfighter. The Summit will look to strengthen reliable access to data, voice, and video anytime and anywhere to support situational awareness and operational flexibility at the tactical edge. Topics to be covered at the 2018 Summit: Facilitating secure and resilient communications for commanders in expeditionary environments Enabling Warfighter readiness through the increase of intuitive communication devices at the tactical edge Integrating sustainable tactical communications systems to ensure operational dominance Enabling Warfighter superiority and information dominance across the Army Enterprise Developing emerging technologies to secure robust tactical networks and improve expeditionary operations Ensuring the Warfighter's ability to communicate from long distances anytime and anywhere in austere environments Advancing C2 architecture to maintain and secure tactical communications between the Warfighter and mission command Developing a simplified network to assist the Warfighter from anywhere in the battlespace Shaping the Army's tactical communications to ensure readiness now and in the future Why You Should Attend This Summit: The 2018 Military Tactical Communications Summit will serve as an educational forum for personnel from US Military Commands, DoD Labs, and Industry to discuss the efforts being made to advance C4ISR capabilities, as well as enhance the tactical network for the Warfighter. The Summit will look to strengthen the commanders' situational awareness and C2 capabilities through ensuring reliable access to data, voice, and video anytime and anywhere on the tactical edge. The current Warfighter requires a real-time, operational picture to ensure information dominance. While operating in an array of austere, expeditionary environments, their ability to receive and transmit critical information may become compromised. This makes the Warfighter reliant on the Commander to effectively communicate this vital information to them from Mission Command. To ensure that operational superiority is maintained, both the Commander and the Warfighter will need to be provided with a network that is simple, yet agile. Commanders are dependent upon the development of resilient, sustainable tactical networks for continued battlefield success. This summit will provide an in-depth look into the policies and strategies that are currently facilitating tactical communication networks for increased operational flexibility. Our team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summit's content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in the community from operational leaders, the R&D Community, key policy-makers, as well as solution providers from industry and academia. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all involved organizations bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers. At our Symposium You Have the Ability To: Gain Education & Insight: Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing our tactical communications community. Build Partnerships: The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to engage in constructive dialogue among all in attendance Influence: Help foster ideas!
