Automated ISR and Battle Management Symposium

The 7th Annual Automated ISR and Battle Management Symposium encourages members of the DoD, Intelligence Community, military services, and critical organizations to come together to discuss solutions and techniques to exploit ISR data in support of the warfighter. Due to the high volume of data being generated, operators have turned their focus towards increased ISR capabilities and expedited efficiency in PED to ensure timely and accurate intelligence. This program will facilitate discussions aimed at enhancing ISR capabilities and emphasizing the significance of battle management systems to fight and win in a multi-domain environment. Topics to be Covered at the 2019 Symposium: Creating ISR systems capable of enhancing C2 and battle management in a peer-to-peer fight Reducing the workload of intelligence analysts through the use of emerging technologies Exploiting machine learning to aid data analysis Increasing the modern warfighter's access to actionable intelligence Challenges faced, and growth of ISR in a Multi-Intelligence, Multi-Domain battlefield Utilizing advances in ISR to ensure all sectors of a battlefield are collected on Why you should attend this year's Symposium: This educational symposium will bring together senior Intelligence officials, military leaders, academia, and solution providers to ensure ISR resources are being utilized as effectively and efficiently as possible in support of mission success. The objective of this year's symposium is to emphasize the increased need to modernize and develop the next generation of ISR platforms in order to ensure dominance in a peer-to-peer environment. These platforms will need to function across multiple-domains at the speed of modern technology and in wide variety of environments. The battlefield of the future will be fought in both the real and cyber world simultaneously and the US military will need systems able to collect in both of them instantaneously. This symposium will feature senior level discussions that emphasize utilizing machine learning and other advances in modern technology to reduce the workload on the analyst and better support the warfighter. Also discussed will be DoD efforts to leverage developments in ISR to improve Multi-Domain Command and Control in order to maintain dominance in a peer to peer world. This symposium will allow for open and honest dialogue to solve the nation's most difficult challenges surrounding the efficiency of ISR capabilities. At our Summit you will have the ability to: Gain Education & Insight: Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing C4ISR leaders. BUILDING FUTURE FRAMEWORKS

The international framework that underpins Canada's security and defence continues to change rapidly under pressure from such influences as rapid advances in technology, populism, extremism, political upheaval, significant trade disputes and the perceptible shifting of power relationships amongst nations. During the Ottawa Conference on Security and Defence, participants will participate in an update on the changing international environment and then have an opportunity to look at how Canada is preparing to act with vigour, alongside partners and allies to secure Canada and Canadians into the future. In addition to focusing on the traditional Canadian NATO and NORAD defence relationship, expert panelists will also look at the Canadian cyber structure, the multidisciplinary team securing Canada's borders and the framework that encourages Canadian industry's preparedness in meeting security and defence needs. Unmanned Aircraft Systems West Symposium

Emerging Opportunities, Needs and Challenges DoD has reported Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) growth rate between 2015 and 2035. It is expected that federal agency UAS fleets will grow from a few hundred to approximately 10,000, with over 90 percent of these vehicles categorized as Nano, Micro, or Small UAS. Ultralight, Light Sport, and Medium sized UAS will find a role with a number of agencies, such as Bureau of Land Management or Coast Guard, who need to survey large tracts of land or water for a variety of missions. In all cases, the UAS is the transport for the payload, be it sensors or cargo. The number and type of UAS developed, acquired, and deployed will be driven by mission needs and costs. Analysts still predict growth in this industry, estimating a total increase to just over $89 billion in the next decade. Not only is the military expected to sustain its backing of UAS technology, but the civil and commercial markets are poised to open up to a host of opportunities for the industry. "Unmanned Aircraft Systems West" is a very valuable investment in your time. Maritime Reconnaissance and Surveillance Technology Conference

We are proud to announce the 4th annual Maritime Reconnaissance and Surveillance Technology conference will be held in Rome from the 6th - 7th February 2019 in Rome. Reconnaissance and Surveillance are key to developing clear and accurate maritime situational awareness. In order to maximise their ISR range, Navies and Maritime agencies around the globe are looking beyond the atmosphere to provide new and advanced surveillance capabilities. Space-based surveillance systems are providing users with up-to-date information from both a signal tracking and data imagery point of view, allowing for the monitoring of shipping routes, fishing grounds, environmental issues and illegal activities. However, not all nations can afford to launch and run dedicated surveillance satellite systems and focus on conventional platforms to fulfil their maritime ISR requirements. Therefore, an international approach is needed to allow Maritime authorities and Navies to monitor the world's oceans and share relevant up-to-date information correctly. Benefits of Attending Attend keynote briefings from senior officers from the key national naval agencies and benefit from a unique focus on space-based surveillance, C4ISR platforms, aerial and maritime airborne technologies and intelligence gathering and sharing Benefit from briefings on national updates and new platform acquisitions and manufacturing, space-based technologies supporting MDA, unmanned maritime system technology, unmanned aerial technologies, Mediterranean ISR capabilities to name a few! Informal networking time factored in so you can gather insight from peers and colleagues also shaping and influencing intelligence gathering and reconnaissance programmes today Focused discussion groups tackling key challenges facing maritime surveillance managers across the transatlantic area Do not miss the briefings from Israel, the US, the UK, Germany, Italy, and many others! Who should attend The audience will include - but not be limited to: Space-based ocean surveillance operators Navy commanders Senior officers and commanders of multilateral naval alliances Heads of coastguard agencies Heads of naval operations Naval aviation officers Maritime domain C4ISR programme managers C4ISR Operations officers Pre-Conference Workshop | Tuesday 5th February 2019 C-SIGMA and S-AIS, Creating a New Paradigm Hosted by Guy Thomas, Director, Academic/Technical Advisor, Multi-National Maritime Security Centre of Excellence & Managing Director, C-SIGMA LLC 12.00 to 16.30
