    Journée de l'industrie, Naval

    Journée de l'industrie - Gros Remorqueurs Navals (W8472-185713/A)

    Les répondants sont invités à participer à une journée de l'industrie par Webex le 22 janvier 2018 à 11 h 00 (HNE), et à des rencontres individuelles, à la demande de l'industrie, les 23, 24, 25 et 26 janvier 2018, à Ottawa. Si vous souhaiter participer à la journée de l'industrie par Webex, veuillez en informer l'autorité contractante pour que le Canada lui transmette les documents et les présentations Power Point de chaque entreprise. Le Canada doit également obtenir la liste des participants de chaque entreprise. Un aperçu du projet, une présentation sur la valeur du contenu canadien et une période de questions sont au programme de la journée de l'industrie, laquelle sera dirigée par l'équipe du projet, notamment l'autorité contractante (SPAC), le responsable technique (MDN), le directeur du projet (MDN), le gestionnaire de projet, Retombées industrielles et technologies, Innovation, Sciences et Dévelopment économique Canada (ISDE), et un surveillant de l'équité (tierce partie indépendante) sans lien de dépendance par rapport au projet des gros remorqueurs navals. Tous les points de discussion ainsi que toutes les questions et réponses de la Journée de l'industrie seront notés dans un procès-verbal publié dans une modification sur Achats et Ventes Canada à la présente DR. Si vous souhaitez participer à une rencontre individuelle à Ottawa les 23, 24, 25 et 26 janvier, veuillez faire parvenir un courriel à l'autorité contractante et y indiquer le nom de votre entreprise, la liste des participants et leur poste, vos questions, les réponses aux questions du Canada à l'Appendice A, ainsi que vos préférences quant à la date, l'heure et le format (rencontre en ligne, téléconférence ou rencontre en personne). L'autorité contractante fixera la date et l'heure de la rencontre. Le Canada fournira aussi un numéro de téléconférence aux entreprises qui ne peuvent participer en personne à la rencontre individuelle. Chaque entreprise pourra participer à une rencontre individuelle de deux (2) heures pour discuter des points confidentiels, de dossiers classés « Protégé B » ou de questions et réponses de nature confidentielle ou visées par des droits de propriété. Toutefois, l'autorité contractante juge que les questions posées par le répondant ne sont pas de nature confidentielle ou visées par des droits de propriété, elle indiquera au répondant que la question et la réponse (l'auteur de la question ne sera pas identifié) seront consignées et publiées sur le site Web Achats et ventes sous la forme d'une modification au document de DR.     Joint Tactical Networks Summit, Advancing Joint Communications to Succeed in Multi-Domain Operations

    The 2018 Joint Tactical Networks Summit will allows members of the C2 and network community, military leaders, and critical organizations to advance the joint force's ability to communicate and exchange information efficiently and securely within a multi-domain environment. This Summit will seek to enhance tactical data linkage tools and network architectures to support advanced communication capabilities for the joint force to succeed. This program will stimulate discussions aimed at enhancing our nation's networks to allow for successful information exchange and network interoperability to further improve our Military power. The objective of this year's summit is to highlight the increased need for interoperability among the joint forces' communications and networks systems to ensure that information is adequately transferred timely and securely in multi-domain operations. This summit will feature senior level discussions surrounding updates and new developments; including the advancement of wireless communications systems for military advantage and efforts to enhance tactical data links Defense-wide. This Summit will encourage discussion among subject matter experts and top military leaders in a forum designed to allow honesty and fluidly when deliberating the nation's C2 capabilities.

    CADSI WEBINAR: Advanced Manufacturing Strategy Table Industry Outreach

    Mike Greenley, President L3 WESCAM and Vice Chair of the Advanced Manufacturing Strategy Table, has been tasked to consult Canadian defence firms on a series of thematic questions relevant to the Table's mandate: What would it take to persuade foreign defence firms to locate world product mandates in Canada? What challenges do Canadian defence companies have in making investments in technology and advanced manufacturing to improve their businesses? What challenges do Canadian defence companies face in scaling up? The Advanced Manufacturing Strategy Table is one of six (6) business-led economic strategy tables, created in Budget 2017 as part of the Government's Innovation Agenda, that aim to establish an ongoing dialogue between government and industry and develop recommendations focused on leveraging Canada's existing economic strengths into global advantages. To support these activities, CADSI is working with Mr. Greenley in his role as Vice Chair of the Advanced Manufacturing Strategy Table to let CADSI's members know about the work of the Table, its importance, and how they can contribute their ideas to the Table's engagement process.     Maritime Information Warfare 2017 Conference

    We are proud to host the inaugural Maritime Information Warfare conference, which will convene at the Copthorne Tara Hotel in London on the 6th and 7th December 2017. As data and information drive operational advantage there is now a need for improved leadership and ownership across maritime information exploitation. The need for collection, dissemination and optimisation of maritime data is driving change and improvement across an array of naval systems.     Special Operations & Irregular Warfare Symposium

    The 2017 Special Operations and Irregular Warfare Symposium allows members of the Special Operations Community, regional combatant commands, Department of State, Intelligence Community, industry, academia, and other critical partners to come together in a town-hall forum to discuss the operational, strategic, and tactical needs required to conduct missions involving SOF and irregular warfare. This program will incite discussion surrounding the role of Special Operations Forces in our country's defense force, and the impact USSOCOM and its partners have in achieving a global military advantage.     Journée de consultation des fournisseurs de PAL Aerospace

    PAL Aerospace et PAL Airlines, en partenariat avec l'Agence fédérale de développement économique pour le Sud de l'Ontario (FedDev Ontario), organiseront une journée de consultation des fournisseurs à Toronto le 29 novembre 2017. Cet événement offrira aux entreprises ontariennes œuvrant dans les secteurs de la fabrication et de l'aérospatiale la possibilité de mettre en valeur leurs capacités, leurs produits et leurs services auprès des représentants de PAL Aerospace qui sont à la recherche de nouveaux liens avec l'industrie de sorte à pouvoir soutenir leurs activités. Les deux sont des entreprises d'EIC, PAL Aerospace est une entreprise diversifiée d'envergure internationale spécialisée dans l'aérospatiale et la défense alors que PAL Airlines est un transporteur aérien axé sur le service à la clientèle qui dessert principalement l'Est canadien. Fait à noter, PAL Aerospace est responsable du soutien en service (SES) à l'aéronef de recherche et sauvetage à voilure fixe (ARSFV) – le C-295W d'Airbus, retenu par le Canada pour remplacer la flotte vieillissante d'avions Buffalo CC-115 et Hercules CC-130. PAL Aerospace sera responsable de l'intégralité des travaux de maintenance qui ne sont pas exécutés par les techniciens de l'Aviation royale canadienne et inclura des travaux de grande valeur comme les réparations, la maintenance de 2e et de 3e niveaux, les travaux de modification à venir et la maintenance à l'échelon dépôt de l'aéronef.
