To carry out the floating refit of the Canadian Coast Guard Vessel CCGS Griffon in accordance with the associated technical information as detailed in Annex A Statement of Work: #864.17.
Vessel Transfer Costs for each vessel will apply to all bids for evaluation purposes.
Mandatory Site Visit:
A mandatory site visit will be held at 09:00am on May 2, 2018 at 09:00am at the Canadian Coast Guard Base, 17 rue Prince, Sorel, (Québec).
Mandatory Bidders Conference:
A bidders conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at 17 rue Prince, Sorel, (Québec) on May 2, 2018 at 1pm.
Destination:
The work shall be carried out at the Contractors facility.
Work Period:
Commence: July 3, 2018.
Complete: October 17, 2018.
Sourcing Strategy:
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
One contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation.
