The attached message has been sent last Friday by our colleagues to Indigenous-owned businesses, a reminder of key dates leading to the October 9-11, 2018 first Indigenous trade mission to the World Indigenous Business Forum (WIBF) in Rotorua, New Zealand. (For updates, please consult the webpage at this link.) These dates are:
1. Friday, August 10, 2018 – Early-bird registration deadline for WIBF
2. Monday, August 13, 2018 - Deadline to submit applications to the GAC-TCS' CanExport program.
• CanExport is for for-profit companies: minimum of one full-time employee, minimum of $200,000 in annual revenues
• Response provided in 25 business days.
• Agri-food companies must apply to the Agri-Marketing program of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
3. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 – Deadline to express interest in joining the GAC-TCS trade mission
• Please send your e-mail to TCS.IndigenousBusiness@international.gc.ca after registering for WIBF.
• After receiving your e-mail, we will send you the documents to fill out to complete your registration with us as well as other information about the trade mission program.
4. Tuesday, September 18, 2018 – Final registration deadline for WIBF
