Future Fighter Regional Forums

This Letter of Interest (LOI) is to inform interested stakeholders that Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada, in partnership with the Department of National Defence (DND), and Public Services and Procurement Canada, as well as Canada's Regional Development Agencies, will be holding Regional Forums in select cities across Canada from April 23, 2018 to May 1, 2018 on the Future Fighter Capability Project (FFCP). These forums are a parallel and a separate activity to the FFCP competition and will not result in a procurement process by the Government of Canada.

The Future Fighter Regional Forums will be an opportunity for Canadian industry and other stakeholders to learn more about the FFCP including potential industrial opportunities through Canada's ITB Policy including Value Proposition.

Through the open and transparent FFCP competitive process to replace Canada's CF-18 fleet with 88 advanced fighter aircraft, which is the most significant investment in the Royal Canadian Air Force in a generation, Canada is seeking from the eligible Suppliers commercial entities on the FFCP Supplier List, strategic and strong economic benefits under Canada's Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) Policy.

The draft Value Proposition approach for the FFCP competition was presented at the Future Fighter Industry Day in Ottawa on January 22, 2018. This approach will be discussed during the forums. For more information on the draft Value Proposition approach, please visit: https://buyandsell.gc.ca/cds/public/2018/01/22/0ef671b2ed64858545107849f714cb69/ABES.PROD.PW_NGF.B002.E26574.ATTA05.PDF

Canada is seeking feedback on the Future Fighter draft Value Proposition approach and the forums will be an opportunity for stakeholders to engage Government of Canada officials through business to government meetings, and eligible Supplier commercial entities on Canada's FFCP Supplier's List, and some of their tier 1 supply chain partners, directly through business to business meetings.
