CADSI WEBINAR: Advanced Manufacturing Strategy Table Industry Outreach

Mike Greenley, President L3 WESCAM and Vice Chair of the Advanced Manufacturing Strategy Table, has been tasked to consult Canadian defence firms on a series of thematic questions relevant to the Table's mandate:

1. What would it take to persuade foreign defence firms to locate world product mandates in Canada?
2. What challenges do Canadian defence companies have in making investments in technology and advanced manufacturing to improve their businesses?
3. What challenges do Canadian defence companies face in scaling up?

The Advanced Manufacturing Strategy Table is one of six (6) business-led economic strategy tables, created in Budget 2017 as part of the Government's Innovation Agenda, that aim to establish an ongoing dialogue between government and industry and develop recommendations focused on leveraging Canada's existing economic strengths into global advantages.

To support these activities, CADSI is working with Mr. Greenley in his role as Vice Chair of the Advanced Manufacturing Strategy Table to let CADSI's members know about the work of the Table, its importance, and how they can contribute their ideas to the Table's engagement process.
