According to Yahoo Finance, the FY 2020 defense budget includes a spending increase of $57.7 billion on all military aircraft, which is a 166 percent increase over FY 2019. DSI's 2020 Military Aviation & Air Dominance Summit will provide members within the Military Aviation community, Acquisitions Authorities, academia, industry, and other critical partners a 'Town-Hall' type discussion on the strategic priorities and operational needs required across the various military services to ensure global air dominance. The goal of this year's Summit is to detail current and future R&D and acquisition efforts being undertaken to upgrade the power & readiness of military aircraft.     Air Power Eastern Europe Conference

    The annexation of Crimea redoubled military planners' efforts to leave behind last decade's focus on asymmetric warfare and concentrate on the very real possibility of having to defend against aggression on the European continent. The nations of Eastern Europe responded by increasing defence spending faster than any other region in the world in 2018. Poland already meets NATO's 2% GDP target, and plans to increase defence spending by 46 billion euros over 15 years. Romania's defence budget exceeded 3 billion USD for the first time in 2016, and Lithuania should meet the NATO 2% target for the first time this year.     Welcome Back to Future Ground Combat Vehicles - Winter Our team is excited to welcome you back to our biggest Ground Combat Vehicles (GCV) conference of the year! With each iteration of the Future Ground Combat Vehicles Conference Series we are getting bigger and better! Last year the fall iteration of the Future Ground Combat Vehicles (FGCV) conference brought together 300+ attendees from both the military and industry. This was made possible by the support we have received from the Army and more specifically the GCV community. FGCV is THE place to be in the fall to continue to foster old relationships and start new partnerships in the GCV community We will continue the conversations and discussions from our last year. Our speakers will provide updates on the progress of the NGCV program and the direction of modernization efforts for current platforms.
